It's an over-glorified paragraph of Crawl, It isn't really worth it. Doesn't feel like it goes anywhere, Doesn't really grow any characters, Dunno about Kylo and Vader, and I don't even remember the name of the person that Finn met and made friends with, nor with the person that Sacrificed herself oh so gloriously (It wasn't very Glorious, actually. Sorry Kathy) Really Kinda forgettable, You also got some problems when you have Mark Hamill angry at Rian for ruining Luke and Fans complaining that Rian berated and attacked them, other fans attacking constructive criticizers, all around Rumors and nastiness. Rumors and info I don't really enjoy hearing.
In all honesty, TLJ goes nowhere. It's an over-glorified paragraph of Crawl as I said. It can FIT into a paragraph of Crawl. At least the others had some development over time, such as at least a few years, or maybe as little as a few months. But no, this isn't even 14 hours after they destroy their Starkiller Base thing, and it's simply them being chased down and then going back into hiding. Almost exactly what happened between 4 and 5. This is exactly that, but in the new saga, and "movied."
It's kinda what my old man said, the better Star Wars movies never had good reviews initially, and even he knew something was wrong when it came out with great reviews. Hollywood doesn't nicely review anything that doesn't have the Disney Smooch and a speckle of SJW in it, or suits their specific interests. So there's that, Hollywood.
Rian, Kathy, and TLJ get more respect than I think they deserve.... A fair bit of us oldies didn't mind Force Awakens, as "Rehashy" as it was. Or even some of the Prequels! You'll see a lot of us hating on the movie, but you'll also see those newer fellas just whine and whine and whine that it's all heaven, and sometimes even hate us! It's a very controversial movie, and it's honestly not very relevant. It's far from it. You can like it if you please, but it's by no means a good Star Wars movie. Not in my book.
