I really loved it and was surprised by all the bad reviews! Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I think the people saying it was boring, long and confusing don’t understand that that was the entire point. It really spoke to me as someone with mental illness and I loved all the metaphors and symbolism. I also love how you could interpret it as you please. If you want something simple and understandable, don’t watch this.

Lord of the Flies

It’s like one of those “miraculous in a nutshell” videos on YouTube making fun of the show but it’s actually the movie. Ridiculously corny but that makes it funny. Also a musical with songs so terrible it’s laughable. Enjoyed it because I mostly watch the show to laugh at the cheesy bits. Would recommend if your a fan of the show and want a laugh. Not a good representation of the show though (spin-off movies rarely are). And not cannon by any means of course.

Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie

It is so cringey and the acting (especially Kate) is very bad and overacted. I see the writers attempted to take a 'modern' attempt at a christmas movie based on 'kids today', but it is completely overdone. Santa would not act like this lol. It's also just completely unrealistic (obviously it's a christmas movie so it's bound to be) but they try to make it realistic and fail. The way the characters react to Santa is at least a little realistic, but the crimes they commit, the logic, and the overall plot aren't. I'm not talking about the obviously unrealistic parts, like the magic or the mere concept of santa, I'm talking about the key elements of the movie itself.

Heartstopper

This book was awful. The whole plot was so stupid and pointless as the problem could've been prevented so easily in the beginning. The author makes it seem like it's soooo complicated and "the truth" is so hard to detect, when in reality it is very simple. SPOILERS: The boy wants to get kicked out of the class so he purposefully breaks a rule, KNOWING that he is in the wrong, and then pretends it was about patriotism and that he thinks he's in the right, when he knows damn well he isn't. So the teacher suspends him (rightfully) and then the kids lies become some giant media story when there's really nothing to it, and in the end both the kid and teacher leave the school and both their lives are ruined. Like my dude could've just asked to get switched out of her class because he's not compatible with her, but no, he deliberately destroys both his own and the teacher's life. Probably the worst book I've ever read ngl. Only read if you have to for school (like me unfortunately), and if you do I am deeply sorry.
