I've just seen the first episode. Clunky. It suffers from the British disease of too obvious social comments and weak younger characters. But then there is Gary Oldman, who is wunderbar. His script seems to be written by someone else. Or maybe it's just Oldman delivering the lines. I will continue to watch because of your man and also hopefully see an improvement elsewhere.

Actors of great craft. But doesn't say much about choices they make. I found its use of African poverty and corruption distasteful. It was a big guns, big muscles action film that was desperate to show how careing it was. But that's all it was - show.
