I have serious issues with resistance. One thing I loved about clone wars, and parts of rebels was how dark the shows could be for a "Kids show"
Clone wars was not shy in the least about showing death and violence. It accurately portrayed a ongoing war and the dangers that existed while mixing in humor and good life lessons.
Rebels, while being far more kid friendly than Clone wars, still showed violence. Both sides were attempting to kill the other. Very little quarter was given. It was a war after all.
Then we get to Resistance. Where to start. I don't think I have ever seen so many stun bolts. For a hyper militaristic society bent on the destruction of their enemies, they sure seem to care about life alot. Heck, if they set to kill from episode 1. The show would be over before the end of season 1. How is it a very lightly armed station older than most of the people watching the show could fend off a enhanced star destroyer on several occasions, let alone destroy one. (Something a armed MC90 would have troubles doing). I will admit towards the end the show finally began showing the reality of war, but to little to late. Good riddence.
