I didn’t get what the movie is about. Neither it serves as a great Space exploration movie nor a love story of a father and daughter. Only one thing I could get is that the imaginary girl motivates the protagonist to save the real girl. There only you could feel a bit emotional but not very strongly. Also, the introvert nature of Clooney makes you feel a bit sad about him. But this is a very old formula which works at its best when you make a very strong emotional connect with the audience which this movie fails to do so.
