Samantha Robinson was perfect for the role of Elaine. Although, Elaine is not a very likeable character. The aesthetic, make up, and costumes were to die for. I honestly thought this movie was made in the 1990s. I was shocked to find out it was made in 2016. The stiff acting, forced dialogue, and camera angles reminded me of 1960's movies which seems to be intentional. I enjoyed all of the witchcraft and astrology symbolism and references in this movie. The plot is interesting and compelling in theory, however, many of the scenes were quite boring and dragged out for too long. Some of the scenes do not even make any sense. The entire movie feels almost satirical. I might watch this again... or maybe not.
