The story was engaging... Amazing story telling..the casting was fabulous.. I enjoyed every second of it..Nad the one thing that I enjoyed is the background music it comes with... Makes you feel you really are in the series some where dressed like they are .watching things happen .. The first season did leave some questions hanging... What happened to king Edward and his friends... When did Jane and Lord Dudley return..how Marie is gonna dethroned...How did Marie's sister become a ethion.. Was there really some cure to ethionism... Would they end up with their child... Did Alice ever gets the chance to free herself...and so on... Me along with my friends..who mostly likes to read....prefer novels over series... did really enjoy the show.. especially the chemistry the initial push and pull between the Lead Couple... that was lovely... We couldn't keep off from not watching the NXT ep and hit the bed...The way they confessed their love was marvelous.. I'm just whipped by that scene..it is still playing inside my mind... And I'm assured not a single thing can stop me form watching the season....I was so disheartened to hear Amazon cancelled the 2nd season... Amazon..Could you please give a second thought to the decision... Please ponder the state of all those who liked it.. please bring back the second season...
