The Far Cry franchise has its odds and ends; FC3 was very well received, FC5, although I have seen mixed reviews, honestly has an interesting thing going on. It left an impression on me, certainly on par with FC3. For now both Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 5 are my favourites.
Oh also I don't think we can argue that Far Cry 5 has quite a bit more to gameplay which feels like a breath of fresh air compared to its predecessors.
