A movie mainly for teens. It also is mostly for Christians. I could imagine it produced by the Church of Jesus Christ.
I like watching religious movies like Ben Hur, as they are extremely well done and I can get into the story. This movie would have been more likeable if it didn't seem to be more a life lesson in Christianity. There was a part where the main character goes over to his girlfriend's house where he gets questioned on his views of Christianity and how he says has been questioning his faith due to the loss of his mother to cancer. After the dinner, he is standing with his girlfriend outside at his car and his girlfriend is telling him that he knew how important christianity is to her and that him questioning his faith essentially is a problem. He got defensive and left. Later he ends up apoligizing to her. I found that it should have been the other way around. He was going through a tough time and she wasn't supporting him...giving him time to work through it. Thought that it was very unchristian of her.But the movie seemed to be giving a moral lesson to never lose faith.
At the end, he seems to be on good terms with god again even though another person dies in his life. Didn't seem believable.
