I don't normally write reviews but how could I not for this amazing show. It felt like a novel the way it unfolded, if you know what I mean. It was complex and rich. Sure there were many villains but it wasn't tiring to watch them either. This is the first drama I've watched where the every single character seemed to have their own story and personality. I loved seeing how each character wove their nets but the greatest web of all was created by the writers of this show and I was caught up in it so neatly. There were no obvious cliffhangers and I was still hooked. Even though the first few episodes were a slow burn, I stayed because of the costumes, set designs and lighting. There was something about it that made this feel more real and authentic than other period dramas I've watched so far. They were Little details that seemed to promise me that this wasn't just another drama. I highly recommend this!
