Anyone who rates this lower than a zillion stars doesn’t have a soul. Someone has deliberately removed your feelings and you should seek professional help. The Ghostbusters movies always helped me escape a little, ever since I was a little kid… and this movie didn’t disappoint. The music, characters, acting, CGI, nostalgia, humor, storyline, tribute… all of it perfect to me. This is now added to my repeat watch list. No spoilers here, but I literally yelled YAY!! at certain parts because I was so happy. I’m not easily impressed, so that’s saying something. I laughed out loud several times, which is also rare for me while watching a movie. Fine I admit it, I cried. Funny how certain movies integrate themselves into your life and mean more to you than you realized.

Acting and direction = 💋 I had fun watching it.

Thompson is the only interesting thing about this movie. The rest is over-acted, cookie cutter trying to be cutting edge, predictable, eye-rolling cheese. I’m usually a sucker for emotional movies, but I literally groaned out loud multiple times watching them try to act like humans with emotions. I’m shocked it has any high reviews.

Who cares what the killjoy critics say, this is a funny movie.

Eff the drama critics. This movie was funny, touching, and sheds light on something that gay people are still struggling for. I really enjoyed all performances. (It was great to see Rudd play the less-than-nice character.) The beautiful scenery, and that wonderful beard, were added bonuses.
