Hostages (Season 2) is a big let down. The overall story is basic and doesn’t pick up until episode 6. Except the Climax, The entrie plot is predictable and Highly inspired by the Money Heist Season 3 (Hostage-Negotiate Situation). Hostages (Season 1) was a Fresh Thriller, with solid well written story backed by fantastic Performances and a nail biting suspense that made its place amongst one of the best web-series last year. Now in Season 2 there are too many unnecessary characters & subplots running parallelly all having their different motives & opinions but by the end it's exhaustive and boring watch with an Unsatisfactory ending. The screenplay is extremely over-stretched, dialogues are poorly written, editing could have been crisp and tight, Cinematography & BGM is okayish, a lot of cuss/foul words are used for no reason and could have been avoided. Apart from Ronit Roy's Performance there's nothing to appreciate about season 2. It's out and out a Ronit Roy Show, as he's the only one we want to watch this series for. Divya Dutta’s talent is wasted. Dino Morea acts Decent. And what a pathetic choice of casting Shibani Dandekar.
