I was bored most of the time. I don’t think adults would find it incredibly captivating, and it sure wasn’t for kids. I was creeped out, and confused by the plot. The main character didn’t feel as gripping as I would have liked. Her personality and motivations felt very surface level. I didn’t care about the “mother”, and her death just felt weird. There were a couple plot holes, and out-of-character choices. I regret watching this movie, and won’t rewatch. Despite this, there were a few pretty scenes, and the acting wasn’t horrendous most of the time. I can see how some people might like this darker telling of Peter Pan. It just definitely was not for me.
