Can we just avoid the debate surrounding the script of the movie, and focus on the acting, screenplay, direction, dialogues and everything that does into making a movie? From the get go, everything about this movie is haphazard and below average. The screenplay feels like it's cut between scenes, nothing is convincing and the forceful jokes fall flat (if not create moments of cringe / annoyance). The actors are the only saving grace, where everyone has done a great job. Although, Rashmika's dialogue delivery is horrible and should consider voice training in Hindi. The direction and screenplay is a major disappointment. Nothing about the movie evokes any emotion - neither for the father, Ranbir Kapoor nor the villains. Maybe a one time watch, solely for the hype. But in true sense, it is definitely avoidable.

Well made and a great addition to the trilogy. Definitely a must watch.

Questionable movie for 2023. Not sure how there are audiences rating it 5 stars. I would've sat well if it were released back in the day with Pyaar ka Punchnama around 2015's. The concept is so over done, the jokes fall flat, and Shradha Kapoor's character is so annoying. Ranbir Kapoor is the sole saving grace, but his character is just as equally annoying. The monologues make you role your eyes and the love story is a typical take on youngerster's relationships these day. Which in my opinion- coming from the same generation- is far from reality. And is just selling a narrative. Easily avoidable

We'll researched and good plot. Excellent documentation. On the contrary, horrible dialogues and screenplay. Some scenes are draggy and cringy. Takes you back to cinema from 1990s.

The movie is a disappointment despite a great storyline. The dialogues are cringeworthy dating back to a 90s film. The direction is just as bad. Every actor has failed to deliver any sort of performance, barring Kay Kay Menon, being the only person who seems natural. The emotional 'motherly' scenes seem beyond forced and are definitely annoy annoying for being Melo dramatic and draggy. If you still wish to watch it, go into it solely for the story.

Wonder why all new shows just have abusive language and bloodshed. While I agree, it's pleasing to most audiences, we would definitely appreciate a good storyline too. This show is draggy and losses its point and focus completely. Eventually leading to a mother aimlessly running around, chasing and being chased by goons. The only reference to her daughter is just her wording 'Gudia' multiple times. Horribly written and shouldn't be called Mai!

I had great expectations. This movie miserably fails to deliver. Worst of all are the dialogues. Such dialogues would've flopped even in 1980s. Way below par

Sherni is a fantastic movie. The starcast, direction, screenplay have all done a great job. But more than that it's the story that lingers even after the movie is over. More people, especially in tier 3 towns, should watch it, it's a great message.

The script is a bit flakey. The show is good and runs well, apart from the jumpy story line. All the actors should've researched their roles more, they're all pretty average. Emraan Hashmi and Vineet Kumar Singh have solely performed well as agents. Kirti Kulhari has given a beyond miserable performance, her character is such a misfit it's unbelievable. She fails to deliver even the bare minimum sketch.

The story is so gripping you can't stop watching it! Except the screenplay, dialogues and script just changes as per plots convenience. It's so confusing to understand why the character is suddenly acting a certain way. This has made a mess out of a perfectly good show! Season 2 is just plain frustrating.
