Dear CBS Sunday Morning team. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I consider myself a moderate politically, probably voting equally for Republicans and Democrats since my naturalization in 1986. Over the last number of years, I could only count on one source of domestic news that I enjoyed, and that was your program. I stopped watching the national news on FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN you name it. The incredible desire of all these news sources to try to tell me how i should think by sharing half truths was not news, as Shakespeare said, "The pen is mightier than the sword" The job of these network news programs is to tell me what happened, not half of what happened to suit the mind of a producer. Today, the blame or not to blame story neglected to talk about the specific misinformation the Chinese Government and the WHO provided early on, the fact that most media outlets ridiculed our response to closing our borders, first to the Chinese then to Europe. My wife and I have been watching Sunday Morning on CBS for 30 years, wonderful stories without the politicizing of them. I am sorry to say this tradition will end now. I will turn to international news agencies like SKY and BBC to try to find out what's going on. It's a darn shame that the stench of politics that has infected all the other news and news programs has now infected my favorite one. I won't watch again.
