Outlandlish(!) deep sea drama with over the top writing, acting and 'twists'. The golden age of BBC radio dramas ended decades ago and we're left with these unsubtle, noisy and unrealistic productions. This comes across as something Alistair Maclain wrote when he was a fourth former then produced by a female intern who wants you to hear every syllable and sound effect. Occasionally interesting but mostly cringe worthy silliness.

It's David Mitchell being David Mitchell in a formulaic, but (mostly) fun, police drama. It relies on the Murder In Paradise tropes but with the added gravitas of Beethoven music to carry it along.
