It's never gonna win awards, but this highly entertaining and thrilling shark film punches above it's weight. Realistic, great acting and solid photography, supported by a very credible storyline. I've watched this twice, and will watch it twice more. Too bad it's not well distributed, I can see it internationally acclaaimed if it was.

A vivid, gritty portrayal of the proverbial angry clown. Phoenix stripped bare, sans makeup and every bit the dark swan. What a black beauty, this will be the first superhero franchise to turn over an Oscar.
