i was really disappointed by this movie. this movie got so much hype and i was so excited to see it. the cinematography, lighting, and music was all amazing, but other than that it’s very surface level. it seems like more effort was put into the aesthetics of it rather than the story line. the storyline is very shallow and it never really dives deeper into his personality or relationships and you never really get closure at the end of the movie. i also usually don’t like coming of age movies for this reason so maybe i just don’t get it but that’s my opinion.
