I thought this movie was amazing. I first watched it last year when it came out on Netflix. I didn't really understand how bad the situation was and what was actually going on throughout this movie. I was simply entertained and even pretty emotional as to what happened. However, after watching it again a year later, wow, I missed out on a lot. I realized the truth of the main character's situation and actually cried like 4 times during this movie. A Silent Voice did a very good job of explaining different emotions that a lot of teens and adults go through. It shows great character development of everyone in the movie, especially the main protagonist (Ishida). Overall, a great movie and I 100% recommend it.

I first watched it when my sister's friends came over and wanted to watch it. A few of the friends already watched it and told me it was really good so of course, I watched it with them. At first, the story seemed like a normal love story with a boy and a girl who swaps bodies. However, after watching it more, I learned that that wasn't all. It was so emotional and literally made my eyes the puffiest things in the world. I can definitely say that the story is amazing and I recommend it 100%. So far, it's my favorite anime movie. The movie is a beautiful creation and really deserves all the hype. (the movie can definitely be confusing to some watchers since the events are kind of out of order, but once everything is put together, it makes total sense.)
