Jim Maynard

Just awful. Horrible lazy scriptwriting. The premis is of a Maverick cop with no partner that gets a new partner, and is also going through divorce and has a dad that was a legend in the force. Not to mention that he is hated by his colleagues because he turned in a dirty cop. Sound familiar? Of course it does, it's been used for decades. The plot is transparent, characters are unlikeable. I could go on and on. I've loved the franchise because they are clever. They make you go "WOW". This makes me go "WHY"
