I tried to finish the first season, but I always feel disgusted how distorted of the characters and how selfish each of them. For example, to save his sister, he has to kill the chancellor. And had to scarifier 300 lives to avoid from being caught. Such a shame of humanity, does it worth it to survive? I just can't proceed any further.

I didn't read the story book. I was attracted by the acting of the young ye went chi during the revolution. Other than the casting of old ye wen chi, Wade, the rest of the casting especially Oxford 5 we're quite unconvincing to audience that they are the best genius of the generation. However, the special effects are quite good and story telling is straight forward and no nonsense. However, with such powerful supercomputer created by the aliens, they can travel to anywhere of the universe in a short time by crossing dimensions. May be I am not a scientist, but with that kind of knowledge, they just even live in planets like Mars.

The parents are selfish to drag their kids around and put others in dangers without telling any reason behind.
