Boring. Too much emphasis on the relationship scandal, and not enough of the martian attack. Also could do without the pointless and annoying flash forwards. These just seemed to slow the story down way too much. The whole thing should have been re-written, and would have benefitted greatly if it was stripped down to the bare essentials, whilst retaining the fundamental parts of the original story. Sorry BBC but you could have done this much better. I would give this a 4/10
