At first...this movie turned me off and I almost stopped watching it. Then, I began to understand where this whole horrific sequence was going. Dramatic satire...like comedic satire can be unsettling. This movie pushes that point to the extreme on purpose to show just how stupid and horrifying racism can be. The scary part. Anyone can learn to embrace hate and once you do...the hole you fall into has no bottom. Just the same...anyone can be brain washed into believing that such "over the top" racism is the norm...and that hole is just as deep. Ultimately, this movie is a warning to us all. Human beings are capable of magnificent things and can be so caring and loving. Those same people can also be totally corrupted and full of contempt and hatred. Color, creed, ethnicity, culture, are just words. They all apply to race. One race, the HUMAN race. Soft & Quiet does a great job showing how obserd and insane we can become when we forget that .

The best way to maintain power and control over the masses is to convince them they need help, they can't help themselves, and you are the savior who can help them. Democrats have been using this tactic for decades with cunning and surgical skill. We have all fallen victim to this brain washing. It has reached the point where we believe whatever we're told. We are beholden to do what our leaders tell us to do, instead of encouraging them to do what we ask. Candace does a wonderful job putting the spotlight on this. Reminding us that we need to think for ourselves. Critical thinking is a threat to a politician...but the best thing for all American citizens. Read this book, and open your eyes. Then FREE your mind!
