I loved this book. I promised myself I would start reading again this year. I was so lucky to find this book. The story line and the political background is riveting. I know this book is fiction but there is so much truth about our history in Canada specifically Quebec that it reads like a biography. There are two families that are woven together throughout the book which keeps you wanting to turn the page. Thank you Joanna for reminding me why I loved to read.
