As a retired Firefighter/Paramedic and USAR Paramedic this show does an absolutely horrible job of depicting what Firefighters, Firefighter/Paramedics and Police Officers do for a living. Even given some dramatic license this show is the worst. Whoever are the technical advisors are NOT giving any sound advice, the actors have never gone through any kind of training as to what the realities of the job are...They should learn from the movie Ladder 49 about coming close to the reality of 'the job'. 911 does the LAFD and the LAPD an absolute disservice. I truly believe you can have an entertaining show with dramatic license and show the reality of 'the job'....try a lesson from Emergency.
