This movie exceeded all my expectations. The casting was great! Very strong singing and excellent acting. The nods to the original Wizard of Oz and to the play provided some nostalgia and fun. It is definitely its own vehicle for the story which can be difficult when following a popular book and play but this movie pulls it off splendidly. It is long but I didn’t feel antsy or bored at any point. A must see

It was ok. Hard to figure out “why”’once you understand “what”. Just another conspiracy movie with more loose ends than answers. Could have used more Tommy Lee Jones and really hate using the death of a child to push story line. Guess all in all I’d pass. Good thing is it’s only 90 minutes long so you don’t lose that much of your life if you decide to watch it.
