Is it just me or does the show seem rushed? Like we’re not getting a proper buildup before the twists are being revealed. I’m happy to see Yaya casted but I’m not sure if this particularly role was for her. Her acting in this role seems unnatural for her and very forced. I’m hoping she get better as the show goes on and maybe takes some classes in method acting. I do think the show has promise and I will keep watching to support the production. Hopefully we see growth along the way but I have to be honest, there is some work that needs to be done in the areas of pacing, writing and acting in order to make this show great.

The judging system is non-existing on this show and I’m so happy to see so many reviewers felt the same way. Frank should have won over Cassie. He grew so much by the end of the show. Everything from working as a team member to listening to the client and what they wanted all while showcasing his unique style. Cassie did none of those things. She designed for herself, rarely thought about the client, and didn’t work well with others. The judge definitely showed favoritism towards her and it showed meanwhile she constantly moved the goal post for the rest of the designers. Plus some contestants were sent home too soon. I enjoyed the concept of the show and the show itself but in order for me to keep watching season after season they are definitely going to have to come up with a solid judging system for ALL designers to adhere to
