The episode where Daffy accuses the neighbors of stealing his newspaper (which he uses for his float rather than reading it) at his apology party is really cool. One of the neighbor’s grievances was that he released like 1000 rats into the neighborhood. Yosemite Sam made a pretty poignant point by asking Daffy if he did that as a political statement with the rats representing the colonizers and how they infested the native peoples land and spread disease. I was like, damn this is a kids show. It’s definitely got Seinfeld vibes which I appreciate. One of the best cartoons for kids, barring the singing and weirdly animated scenes of Wiley the coyote and The roadrunner. Did the looney tunes ever give anyone else the impression that roadrunners were ostrich size? Anyway, overall awesome show.
