If i have to compare love alarm with any other kdramas ive watched before (i watch too many), this is really disappointing. I really couldnt connect with the characters at all, everything just seems too awkward maybe bcs its too fast paced, there was no buildup to anything. Also, i have never not cried in a kdrama, with love alarm, i didnt even feel a single emotion at all, everything just seems so ????? to me. Didnt feel much butterflies, didnt feel sadness a single bit, maybe bcs it kinda feels too forced. From the first episode i actually thought the sun oh had psychopath tendencies??? Why was he following his best friend, knows that he likes her, and suddenly he wants a kiss from her and then from then on their love blooms???? But i thought i would give other episodes a try maybe id understand their characters more, ended up finishing the whole season, still disappointed bcs i literally cannot feel the connection like i usually do with other kdrama characters. Also why did they make jojo so easy as a girl, as if she literally doesnt have her own principles, getting tossed around so easily. But then again this is a drama so i guess. Everything was too fast paced, too many unnecessary flashbacks, cant feel any connection with the characters, typical kdrama character background. If youre looking to watch for something simple, then maybe this is for you. I will watch season 2 to see whatll happen next bcs this type of cliff hanger is those end of episode cliffhangers, not the end of a season cliffhanger lol
