I highly suggest The House on Mango Street since it is a very beautiful, deep, and heart touching book. It's so poetic and inspiring. I haven't read the whole book yet but we're reading it in my second period. I love the book so much. I love that it talks about things that can happen in reality. I'm glad that Esperanza is a colored female that's my age in the book. There's experiences in that book and all that I can relate to (not exactly though.) I love that the book was made in the 1980's and the book gives me vibes that I love. The book is an aesthetic to me and Esperanza, the era, the plot, and the vibes is what makes the book extremely interesting to me. Even the name "Esperanza" just satisfies me. I love getting to know characters in the book and to understand them, especially Esperanza. This book makes me wish Esperanza was a very close friend of mine and I already love her so much. This book made me fall in love hard, which I didn't expect to happen. At first, the first vignette of the book made me feel kind of bored and uninterested. I hadn't known that it was a book until the teacher showed us that it's a book. I was shocked when I found out it was a book. And once I read more of the book, I got more and more interested and fell more and more in love. I have such a high grade in second period (an A of course) since we're reading that book and most of the work we do is IVF, RACES, and other writing strategies on that book. The book makes me happy and it can teach you. The themes to the vignettes are wonderful. The theme to the whole book is wonderful. The book hits me hard. I probably have more than that to say about the book but how could I not love the book?
