I am in the middle of this disappointment of a novel. I searched now to see if others felt the same way. Boring novel like a bus trip taking forever and going nowhere. And the tirade of politics makes no sense to the story. I agree with others. We want an escape from the politics and drama. We don't want his political views. First and last time for me reading this author!
