I give it a B for effort, but also a D for effect. It’s clearly trying to be an update on a classic (which isn’t really classic) and makes a mishmashed dumbed down thriller that has all of the parts available to be better. Instead of nostalgia this movie brings me shame. All that to say I’ll almost certainly keep rewatching; it’s silly fun that tries way too hard to be cool and dark. Just like me when I was younger.

Surprisingly bad, especially if you go in knowing it is what it is. There is one cool action shot very early on, and from there the rest of the movie is a dead thing gurgling and farting its way off the screen.

Succeeds in perfectly missing any mark.
