I have heard so much about this show, and I wanted to like it. I don't. The basic story is interesting but the details make it very unrealistic. There are several little reasons that I am disappointed in Yellowstone, but mostly it is because I don’t like stories where the main characters have no redeeming qualities. Such is the case in Yellowstone. It depicts a world that is simply unrealistically evil, and in any case, if the world is truly this bad, I don’t want to be reminded of it just before bed. There is nothing there for me to like, no hope of a good-guy coming out on top or winning the day. They are all bad. And John Dutton having loving moments with his grandson doesn’t count—that is too simplistic for a story that touts itself as being a chess game (as opposed to checkers).

Disappointed. Based on real-life events, but much too losely. The basic story had a lot of potential. But I think the details in the plot were too contrived and the dialogue/acting/directing was over-dramatic. Dancing is always a part of Indian movies and again basically it was good, but would have been better if it had been more natural. In RRR the dancing was somewhat animated, the shots were sped-up in places that made it seem forced and less grounded. I did like the potential of the friendship between Komarama and (Rama)raju, it was engaging and fun to watch. It was based on actual revolutionaries and thus would have lent itself to a more real-life depiction of actual historical events (perhaps no dancing, but to me more engaging). But the way this movie was done made it all seem more fantastical and unbelievable. It wasn't a horrible movie, hence the three-stars, but I don't really recommend.

Given the light-hearted nature of the advertisements for this movie, I was shocked at how dark "A Man Called Otto" was. I would be horrified to take a child to this movie in spite of the PG-13 rating. Even getting past the four (!) suicide attempts (which was difficult), the writing/acting and directing made the story inauthentic and the main character, Otto, a cliché of a grumpy old man. I like Tom Hanks in most of his movies, but he was not enough to overcome the contrived nature of "Otto": Otto's behavior was too rude to believe the kindness extended to him by the other characters, and his own nastiness was at times unexplainably inconsistent. If you want to see a similar movie done much better, I suggest Disney's 2009 animated film "Up".

Hilarious! Lapkus is incredibly funny, I laughed nearly the whole movie. Cute story, happy ending. I think this movie has cult-classic potential.

My wife and I were both really disappointed in this show. It wasn’t funny, and the second episode was even a little offensive. We stopped there. It was just too silly and disjointed.

Not impressed. The dialogue is too fast, whispered and almost mystical to those not well versed in the world it depicts. More graphic than it needs to be, and the storytelling is clunky and disjointed.
