This gutted everything dynamic, interesting, and likeable about the books, dunked the remains in Disney lacquer, and threw it against a wall to make sure it didn't fight back. This is anticipated cheeseburger accidentally dropped in a pig pen level of disappointment. Someone please check on Eoin Colfer, if this were my book series I'd be drinking myself to death.
