This was the biggest cinematic disappointment of my life. The original movie is in my Top 5. I was in Morocco and saw the arena where both were filmed. I felt personally connected to this movie and couldn’t wait to see it. Words can’t describe how bad it was. People were laughing. I almost walked out.

I wanted to love this movie... Vikings and Vampire Eric. But even being predisposed to like it, I still have to admit that it was really bad. Older man with a much younger woman and a treacherous female character made it the same old misogynistic film that we should be moving away from. Terrible writing. Weird fart scene, bad hair. I’m so disappointed.

The acting was not great. I really wanted to like the show.
