Emyra Nadia

I've never written a review before but the state that this series has left me practically jolts me into writing one. The cinematography, the portrayal of the wrongfully convicted, the setting, the atmosphere, the whole package. It was a stunning and heart-wrenching performance by the cast, and an ingenious directing from Ava Duvernay. It was an amazing portrayal of the prejudice justice system, the levels of racial bias that lives within politics and survival, and the cruel treatment of those that are incarcerated. Just stunning.
