What Dr. Now needs to realize is that all meat is fat, all dairy, even yogurt is fat and has the bad sugars, yet he has them eating it. That could very well make some people who stick to the plan not loose much weight. These people need lots of fruits and veggies, fruits and veggies are the sugars your body needs to produce energy. Their bodies need the nutrients to help heal their health and food addiction. They are hungry always because their body is asking for the proper foods. They need to eat all day but not large meals just small healthy snacks otherwise their adrenal glands take on stress when it has to produce adrenaline to get them to the next meal. Excess adrenaline causes a lowered immune system. And yes I do know, I have lost 50 pounds doing this and kept it off for two years no problem. Plenty of protein in leafy greens so no need to worry if you are on the high protein train. But there are proteins in all foods. I watch for inspiration, if they can tackle that with bad information I can tackle anything. But Dr. Now could do this in a healthier way for them. Plenty of fruits and veggies will also lower anxiety and depression....so.... why not?
