Once you start this show, you'll instantly get hooked. Dexter manages to masterfully combine the classic tropes of the best cop soap operas with a morally grey atmosphere with narratives and subplots that really flesh out its characters as individuals, especially the titular Dexter. You'll never find a more likable serial killer.
