Beautifully woven stories with two amazing actors to carry the weight of their stories

An amazing movie with a star studded cast coupled with the amazing direction of Guillermo del Toro. The premise seems shallow at first but the pacing and plot pulls you in with gripping plot twists and amazing performances by Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchett.

A weirdly wholesome post apocalyptic movie. It is uncanny how they gave the robot such human experiences and emotion. Tom hanks takes us on a familiar journey of survival, hardship and lots of life lessons on this movie that talks about the failings of humanity and a nudge towards self actualisation.

What sets this apart from most westerns is the electric energy from the cast. Each one is able to hold their own whenever it's their turn to take the stage. However, the greatest impact came in the form of Regina King and her sheer charisma and aura in bringing her character to an immersive level of ferocity. Other than that, plot was not really surprising and the development was short and sweet. The soundtrack was almost too perfect for each scene transition and it is a medley of some of the best music can offer, with lots of reggae, classical and blues mixed in with it. For those looking for a fun ride of a movie, this is one to look out for.

When I first watched the trailer for this film, it piqued my interest. What could go wrong with this strong cast of actors such as Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson and Thandiwe Newton. Placed together in a sci-fi genre which happens to be in my genre of fancy, I thought it would be above the bar personally. Alas , as of all things wished, we get the forlorn. The movie was average at its best but it has so much unused potential. The story moves at a semi slow burn, with twists and turns , a few surprises and some predictable moments. The characters felt well portrayed and the world was well built. However, what falls short is the shallowness of it all. With such an introduction to a working ecosystem of this flooded universe, it could have been expanded better. The plot in itself tried to push the boundaries between presentation and execution fell in between the middle with neither able to reach its maximum impact. But don't let that distract you from the weak villain portrayed by Daniel Wu , who plays a ruthless mobster that ends his scene with a whimper. Overall, one could say that this is an interesting movie to say the least but leaves no room for any revisits.

What happens when you mix shaky cameras, bad dialogue and subpar action. The GI Joe Snake Eyes origin story is what you get. I hope you watched this on a rental because the theater tickets would have been a gruesome way to watch this movie

With the low bar that was the live action Monster Hunter movie, Legends of the Guild definitely brings MH fans back to the fore with some good monster hunter slaying and some on theme progress. On the downside, the messy editing and awkward cuts as well as the 50/50 CG budget brings down what could potentially be the best Monster Hunter Movie adaptation yet. Lets hope for a bigger budget sequel to smooth out these issues.

The pacing is top notch, plot quite unpredictable and the cast is excellent. All this culminates a perfect Netflix binge worthy series

As a revenge flick, it hits a pretty good note with some cool twists and slick action. Come for the vibe, stay for the pacing.

It has the right mix of comedy, action, and suspense to keep you on edge while getting the occasional gaff. It also helps that the plot moves along at an acceptable pace.
