The main USP of 2.0 is it's very impressive use of VFX and particularly the climatic action sequences are breathtaking...even a few scenes like cell phones lighting up an entire forest is wonderful to look at... but the movie fails to deliver on the narrative aspect... .. A strong and genuine theme which probably looked great on paper but was not implemented properly on the screen... The screenplay is quite week and very predictable.... The story did not manage to keep me on the edge of my seat, only the VFX impressed.... Also some of the things shown have not been explained scientifically well enough and don't sound feasible even the movie tries to explain them with scientific logic.... The problem with Chitthi, as was with the first film too is he is shown to have superpowers like a superhero would..he is a Robot, just a machine for god's sake. ....its not explained how an androhumanoid Robot can actually fly or turn into a huge magnet in the end and attract thousands of cars and junk from all around to form a giant version of himself.... Also the concept of aura that the villain comes from and his feats don't have scientific explanation.... Perfomance wise, everyone delivers well... Rajni is at his best and his charisma works... Akshay Kumar is simply awesome in a 20 mins flashback sequence explaining the villain's origins.... If you're a sucker for great special effects and action, 2.0 is for you but if you are looking for a story with drama, Enthiren was much better in that aspect, mixing an equal amount of some great storytelling and good VFX
