Tom Altis – Google

It amazes me that people hate this movie. It wasn’t perfect but it was pretty great in my opinion. From what I can tell the majority of people who don’t like this movie are critics that know nothing about Star Wars or are big fans that would have rated this movie 1 star no matter who directed it, or what the storyline was. My only real complaint is that the movie was very fast paced but that was only because JJ had to fix a bunch of plot holes and mistakes made in TLJ. Such as Holdo’s hyper speed trick and Luke’s complete lack of respect for his fathers lightsaber. For the record I still really liked the scene with Luke grabbing the lightsaber out of the fire but the scene where I think it’s Finn who has to explain how Holdo’s trick is 1 in a million is just a boring scene that shouldn’t need to exist without TLJ. TROS feels like it’s basically ignored TLJ and said “this doesn’t matter, this Is how it should have been done”. 5/5
