The acting, directing and cinematography is all top notch. If you like period dramas then you should definitely check this out. 4 out of 5 stars. The reason it's not 5 stars is that it adds nothing new to the sub-genre of the period piece/historical movie category. That's ok though because it works just fine for what it is.
