The movie definitely did the justice to the story written by Haruki Murakami. The movie was slow paced but that's what helds you on the edge to see how the characters unfold. The lingering back and forth motion of the characters just unfold in a way that makes you want to know more. And the scenes being cold and detached made it merge along the story. The creeping loneliness and the goal of find a purpose of life overall builds "Hae-mi". And "Jong su" finding it difficult to come in terms with his father and his career trying to scrape his life together. And then comes "Ben" the all knowing wealthy guy who knows it all. The characters is what made the movie stand out! And the ending is just unexpected.
(spoiler alert remember the knife collection on jong su house)
