10/10. Easily the best game I've played in years and possibly the best in the series. This is coming from a 25 year Metroid veteran. Everything you've ever loved about the series is in this game, along with some new wrinkles in the form of new weapons and abilities. The exploration aspect, which has been Metroid's hallmark, is masterfully done, making the game completely submersive as you try to uncover every hidden power-up, upgrade or passageway. This game wipes away the memory of the total disaster that was Metroid: The Other M.
