This book was on a completely different level for me. I didn't expect anything when I first started this book but was gripped by the storyline and the characters once i started it. We've all seen mind controlling stuff and plots before but for some reason this was goddamn sweet to me. When I was reading the two subplots in the novel I was like 'what the hell am I supposed to do with this information?' but when they clicked with the main story I was convinced this was a great book. I didn't have any loose ends when I finished the book. Absolutely loved it.

The book is a good read. It stayed true to its artistic storyline that its predecessors did as well and did a great job at portraying Italian art. The book was fast paced and introduced me to Dante Alighieri, a man with a troubled past. Exploring through the Mediterranean is awesome when Langdon is by your side. But still, the climax twist seemed a little odd, but atleast concluded on a brighter note. Is not on the level of Angels and Demons but definitely worthwhile, unlike Origin.

The book was not that great to be fair. I felt I was given mindless information about guns and grenades rather than the plot itself. Also felt some subtle objectification of women, but I could be wrong. I couldn't connect to the lead very well, and in my opinion the climax fell flat. The ride was fun though, around the world, but too many roundabouts for a simple plot that would have been condensed in some 20-30 pages if not for the World Tour.

I didn't quite like this book. I started kinda hating on Dan Brown's themes like in the Lost Symbol and Inferno where the premise of the story was kinda lackluster compared to the classics like Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons and Digital Fortress. While starting the book I expected some kind of revelation like I experienced in Da Vinci Code, but it surely fell flat at the end. Seriously? Urey Miller theory? But the only reason I like this book atleast somewhat is the inclusion of the Artificial Intelligence being able to orchestrate such a big thing and the finale of it being semi-woke actually blew me. But is the orchestra worthwhile? In my opinion, not.
