Data Odyssey

A movie about a close encounter of the ultimate kind that affects 2 teens and changes the lives of others beyond expectations. Kudos to this movie for avoiding falling into the typical flying saucers with humanoid aliens routine. I’ve been aware for some time that not all illuminated UFO orbs in the sky are nuts and bolts alien spaceships. I personally believed some of those orbs ARE actually ET life forms - glowing energy beings, if you will. This movie successfully uses that postulation, and succeeds beautifully. Entirely believable, the main roles are aptly played, despite this movies low budget. The movie finishes on a high note, with one protagonist curing the other of radiation poisoning and then transforming into a ball of light, and returning to the stars with her fellow energy beings. We are left looking at the dark skies, once more left with a clear message; we are not alone in the universe.
