i saw this movie with my mom when it came out and it was great, the story was a bit outlandish and unrealistic but fun to look into the history of the natives that lived in the area (i think it was england) i loved seeing the culture that existed and seeing how they hunted and acted over 10'00 years ago it was a great film it really stood out that year in the industry. i loved how they spoke a language that we didn't understand and how daily life was as harsh as it could be. another aspect i loved was the different species that existed 10'000 years ago and how different landscape and climate was. like i said earlier the story was kind of unrealistic because of certain things like how keda survived the fall and how he befriend a wolf and survived a fall into frigid waters, but again it's hollywood and you gotta make them dollars somehow. all around the story was pretty good, there are a group of men from a tribe tasked with hunting for buffalo in ancient england and how the main character keda gets attacked by a buffalo while hunting and falls off a cliff and lives then tries to make it back, on his journey back he is met by a wolf pack who protect him from a jaguar but one of them gets hurt and keda befriends him and they find there way back and live happily ever. i'd say 7/10 story wise. now onto acting, i found they acting in this around subpar but decent enough to watch the movie it feels like keda's actor could have been better i'd say 6.4/10. in some parts the cgi and green screen was kinda jank but i don't think this movie had the biggest budget and judging off of that they did a great job 8/10. The whole movie i'd say probably 7.5/10. if you have read this review all the way through i sincerely thank you have a great day
