I like the show in general but the Anne in this series is so irritating. I couldn’t stand her. To me, she was actually selfish, presumptuous, whiny and over the top. The original Anne, while she had a temper, was at least much more relatable. Marilla, Matthew, Ms Stacey, Gilbert as original characters and Bash (new) carried the show.
