Soul is charming,funny and a must watch for anyone who loves animated movies with meaning and message.

Well, I am from Nigeria .The racism directed towards Africans is much different from that of Black Americans. In Nigeria for example, if a white person comes to work with a less qualification than a black person, they would still get the job. Its ironic in the sense that white people in Africa are relatively smaller in number than the black people but still have privileged .Therefore ,the show was an eye opener with different experiences of the minority there which is the majority over here (Nigeria).However, there was still the misrepresentation of Africans in show.There is a charater with a mediocre accent who claims to come from Kenya.American media always represents African characters like this- poorly.

The storytelling of the movie in the beginning starts off a bit ambiguous so you don't know what is really going on .But, that's what makes it so compelling because everything starts to come together to create one of the best movies I have seen this year.
