Amazon better pray this is the next Parks and Rec and gets likable in Season 2, cause if it's the next GoT, it's a Season 8 budget without the foundation of multiple good seasons or the excuse of having to write it themselves without a boo.
Clunky pilot, plenty are. Massive slowdown for exposition-only episodes mid-season, not good, buddy. Mangling the plot to sap any cinematic value and excitement from the reveal for that anti-climactic jello of a season finale? NO, SIR.
It should say a lot that Brandon Sanderson, who co-authored the final three books of the series after RJ died, said the season finale was his least favorite episode. Mr. Sanderson, please distance yourself immediately so you can get a worthy director and producers for any adaptations of your other work.
